Finally realising his dream of having his own restaurant, Alex Bond opened Alchemilla in July 2017 and has already made his mark in the Nottingham food scene. Alex has been cooking for 20 years and has worked in Michelin-starred kitchens since he was 19 years old, including 42 The Calls in Leeds, Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, Auberge du Lac in Hertfordshire and Turners in Birmingham.
Alchemilla Restaurant in Nottingham strives to create a dining experience enjoyed by everyone, serving modern British food that is simple but not simplistic. With a heavy focus on plant based cooking we hope to introduce you to a new side of vegetables.
Housed in a 19th century coach house that lay empty for nearly 150 years, Alchemilla has been transformed into a beautiful modern light space whilst retaining the character of the building and its stunning architecture.
