Rob Palmer, Head Chef of 1 Michelin star Peels Restaurant, Hampton Manor, is the first Sauce Supper Club chef to host an event in Nottingham!

We are extending the locations of Sauce Supper Club this year, starting with the fabulous “City of literature” Nottingham – with staunch Supper Club supporter Rob Palmer. Rob Palmer has been with us since we started early last year and is looking forward to bringing his talents to the city.
Also part of the story is the venue of our first evening – Alchemilla, the exciting, new venture by another of our chefs, Alex Bond. Alchemilla provides a stunning setting within an atmospheric Victorian building that was renovated and opened by Alex just last year. The fusion of amazing chef and breath-taking venue will create a magical experience for our Supper Club guests.
On 3rd October 2016 Rob Palmer picked up a Michelin Star for Peel’s. This accolade was the icing on the cake in a year in which Peel’s was named Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Birmingham at the Birmingham Food, Drink and Hospitality awards, was awarded its fourth AA Rosette, won the Michelin Welcome and Service Award. Peel’s is also recommended in the 2016 Michelin Guide, noted for its “refined, original combinations” and “perfectly pitched” service.
Rob’s food is modern, but cooked with classical flavours and textures. He uses ingredients that people can recognise, focusing on three key flavours per dish.
Chef’s Table… is an exciting opportunity for you to enjoy a VIP experience at our pop-up restaurant. Seated just off the pass, you’ll be in amongst the action and receive personal attention from our chefs. Spaces for this are obviously limited for each of our evenings.
The menu… Some Supper Club Members prefer not to see the menu before the evening, however if you would prefer to see it please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy!
As a Supper Club we seat guests together to make up larger tables and therefore smaller parties may be seated with other like minded foodies. In some circumstance we are able to split tables but we cannot guarantee this – please add a note to your booking if you prefer to be seated as per your booking.
