Aaron’s culinary journey began in Brighton, training at Brighton Tech whilst working in pubs and restaurants in Brighton and Hove. Inspired to learn more, Aaron moved to London where he worked in a number of Michelin starred restaurants, including Chez Bruce and Fera. Days off were spent gaining further experience with chefs including Marcus Wareing and Oliver Dabbous. Most recently Aaron was head chef of chef’s favourite The Smoking Goat, Soho where he gained impressive reviews and led the team to achieve the accolade of 55th best restaurants in England.
Aaron’s desire to return to Brighton marked an opportunity to finally put his own food onto a plate and in late 2016 Aaron moved back to Brighton and began hosting a series of pop-ups under the name ‘FOUR restaurant-the pop-up series’. Today Aaron cooks modern, seasonal British food using techniques from around the world combining bold flavours and quality fresh ingredients that often pushes diners out of their culinary comfort zone.
He has gained a loyal following in Brighton and hopes to share his cooking with diners further afield. We are excited to introduce Aaron to Staffordshire – his food looks and tastes stunning and we can’t wait to share it with you.
